First time mk1 golf convertible owner saying hello

Hi everyone, I picked up my first mk1 golf on Sunday and was just saying hello.

This is such a great site and  I'm looking forward to using it and getting to know people on here.

Tell us a little more about it please?  

It's a 1991 J reg clipper convertible. Has done 163k but has quite a bit of service history, especially from the previous owner who spent quite a lot. The body work is really good, no rust at all, just a few small scuffs here and there. The interior is excellent all original the only fault is that the driver's seat bolster has collapsed. Just on the side where you get in. I'm really happy it. It's not my main drive, just something to play with and have the top down in the summer
