Ive just recently bought a mk1 golf cabrio 1.8 auto.

I love the car but it was smoking a little and had a tappet that needs adjusting so i took the head off and found detonation on number 1 piston I also want to change the bumpers in the near future and tart it up a little.

so here i am to pick your brains and lokk for ideas. Cheers Wayne.
