MK1 Golf Cabriolet Project

Hey all,

Ive recently purchased a mk1 cabriolet which has sat in a car par park for two years rotting away. In order for it to pass the MOT i need to get hold of a new windscreen as mine is cracked, Does anyone know where i can find one from? ive searched ebay and vw heritage to no avail . I also have a rather random fault with the indicators, If I turn the stalk left they work fine but if i turn it right it blows fuse 19 10A and the light goes solid. Does any one have any pointers on this?

Any help greatly appreciated as I quite a bit of a numpty when it comes to mechanics :-P

What year and model of Cabby do you own to start with mate? 

Ah that might help! Its a 1987 D reg GTI model. :-)

Also i have fault when I try full beam the right hand side it doesnt come on (left hand fine) and pops fuse 9? has any one had this before? sorry if this is in the wrong section also. I will try and upload a few pics soon :-)
