Turned MK3 lover into a MK1 owner

Not so long ago i won an MOT failure MK3 golf…VR6 which is rusted to hell and pretty sorry for itself but engine runs, and its a 3dr with leather.





And me and mixerman have just bought (or as near as bought) this MK1 golf 1.3 with a seized engine, and because the mk3 is in such a bad bodywork shape *a few sense what im going to say*






Its MK1 VR6 Time!!!!!

sounds like a good plan to me, get rid of a mk3 and keep a legend alive, like it

Yep and give it a nice big engine with some nice power

one suggestion though, please keep it looking standard, looks better and really annoys the chavs in corsas at the lights lol

Thats pretty much what i had in mind to,

This is my other car which ive tried to keep subtle and the smart standard look, which has also had a engine conversion done onit.

has anyone got any ideas for ecu stuff on these new fangled mk3 vr thingys… i havnt got a cluueeee

Unfortunately we didn't buy the car in the end as the bloke didn't have the keys and wasn't willing to budge from his price.

Its a shame but we can spend our money on other projects.

can you guys take the dash out of the mk3 and tweak it to fit golf so less messing about with ECU etc ?

iv decided to put my money into my golf
eds gonna help me with this one for a bit until th urge to buy a mk1 gets too much. lol.

i got another mate who owns a saxo and would like a gti but hes jobless and skint all the time lol.

we will find something to put this vr6 in
