Thought i'd better join the club

Hello Everyone

I have owned a mk1 campaign for a few months now with the intention of bringing it back to its former glory. It's only had two owners with full history and is my new favorite thing…… Problem is the roof is completely shot all round the sun roof with bits even falling into the footwell.  I've brought the car with a friend as a project and we have already spent a bit getting it driving well and are not sure what to do about the roof. We have shown it to a local body shop who said it needs a new roof but i was wondering what your thoughts are on cutting a new roof on? The rest of the car seems solid and i really wanna get the car finished….Do you think this would be a mistake as i think i have found a campaign that a local lad is scrapping?

I think if you wanna keep the car on the road sounds like you're gonna have to do something.

You've come to the right place though, cause people don't give up on there cars to easy here so where there's a will there's a way!

I can't give you much advise cause I have a cabby, so I'll leave it to you rest!
