South coast newbie on here

Hi all, just joined yesterday so a quick introduction from me, names Simon, been into Vw's since owning my first mk1 golf gti back in the day around 1989 (yeah I qualify for the old timers group), since then owned another 2 mk1's, a mk2 gti, 2mk3's (one 16v one vr6 highline), Audi A3 Sline and now back to 59 plate Scirroco.  been out of the scene for a few years doing houses up and helping to raise 2 daughters but found spare time on my hands again so bought a mk1 around 3 yrs ago and just finished a complete resto with a few tweaks here and there so I'll post up some pics in the project section soon.
