Only kidding mate, nothing wrong with mk2s!

Not sure if there is a mk2 specific forum. Lots of the mk1 mechanicals are the same as the mk2, though none of the body parts are the same.

i also have a mk2

i also have a mk 2, but i didnt know until after joing the site..

you are right, there is not mk 2 site, should there be?

or perhaps integrate them into this site?

Hi mate, can't see us merging with a MK2 club to be honest as we are MK1 specific (we're a bunch of snobs really!! :lol: ) but if there's not a club for you why don't you look at starting something up.

It does need a lot of hard work and effort at times but if a few of you are willing then should be easy!

I think you've got a mk1 there. Golf cabriolets were based on the mk1 shape until about 1993. There never was a mk2 cabriolet. It switched straight to the mk3 from the mk1.
