saying hello

hi all, just want to say hello and ask a quickie? what sort of money would i be looking at for a clean gti in black and pref standard? just looking at the mo as i have just bought a house and need to check my finances first. used to have a 306 rallye but sold to pay my deposit  a girl i used to see many moons ago is a die hard vw fan and she had a mint mk1 and i got to drive it and loved it. now i have a house and more importantly a garage i have the opp to have one. and when i finnish my  trianing i will be on the look out for a splitt screen camper :notworthy:

Prices do vary quite a bit depending on model (1.6, 1.8, year), any mods and condition. You would be looking at around ?1500 for a nice example with no rot. Try the buying and price guides linked from the home page.
