Does anyone know how to repair tail that won't work correctly when the head light are turned on?

Replace the bulb?

Check the contacts for the bulb aren't corroded?

Check the wiring connector is okay (one at each end, lamp unit and fusebox)



From your question, you make it sound like the tail (light?) works correctly without the headlights on!!!
