please help me....?

Unfortuantely today is a very sad day for myself and my partner.

His MK1 was stolen lastnight  :cry:

We are beginning the process of police investigations and insurance claims but neither of us have a very good idea of what the car is worth and were wondering if anyone could help?

All I can tell you at the moment is that it is 87/88 (I forget :dontknow: ) carmen edition white GTI cabriolet with a few miles on the clock, I will post more information tomorrow. If anyone has a rough idea of its value with the information mentioned please reply.

Really sorry to hear that Rachel.  Not nice.  
Value wise its a bit difficult to tell.  Have you got any photos of it anywhere?  Stick them up if you have with the mileage and plus and negative points - almost like a for sale advert but it will give us a better idea to hopefully help you.  What was the agreed value with the insurance company?  They're likely to settle for less than that.
