On my way over here from clublupo

as much as I love my Lupo; it just has too many gears, curves and computer bits for me to be truly satisfied.

I today laid the deposit down on my third car and my first Mk1 a 75/76 cross over LS model with full history and low mileage.

Quite frankly I'm really very excited and I just had to tell someone and who better than you lot

Great car! Doesn't look like there's much to tidy up. Nice interior/exterior colour combo. Very retro!

just a few bits of rot to attend to but that just all adds to the character

Looks like a small amount of work to do on the rear arch but apart from that looks great.

if i was you id just be pressing the air ride switches to make it go up and down! haha

how much did you pay for it in the end? i thought 5k was a wee bit pricey…..

just so you get an idea of the interior

the Airride is a nice stealth install the switches are hidden and so is the tank and compressor, the gauge sits nicely in next to the original analog clock

the final price is to never be spoken out loud

so damn chuffed with this car

my Father however was not impressed he thinks he can find a 76 golf for less than ?400

if he does, I'll make sure he gets two
