Noobie from South Africa.

Hi guys…

I'm Zain from Cape Town, South Africa i'm a VW fanatic of note.  i've had a few dubs since I was 17 till now, i'm 25 btw.  I'm currently driving a 2004 model MK1 Golf 1.4i 8v.  I've had this car for the last 4yrs, she currently has 80,000km's on the clock and still doing me proud. :wink: My lil' 1400 has a few "mods" which includes a bigger downpipe, Powerflow exhaust, 272deg Estas cam, Dastek Uni-Q and K+N induction also Koni Sport suspension, full red Hella tailights, some mk2 GTi waistline stripes, Kamei bootspoiler and a tilt and slide electronic sunroof.  Rims of choice are 16" BBS RS771's with high polished lips and anthracite centres.

Futures mods:  2E 2.0 8v engine conversion with a wilder cam…this will be taking place in the next 2months. :twisted: as for the interior i've got some mk1 GTi cloth that I'll be ordering from Eurowagens for my interior retrim.

lol. honestly. they are EVERYWHERE!!  the last ones were made in 2009 i think.  and good condition ones arent hard to find at all.  and there's thousands on the roads and just as much for sale.  So find a good, clean one isn't difficult to find.

Hi guys…so i ended up fitting a 2.0 8v engine into my car more than a year ago.  Car pulled extremely well ended up making 111kw 195nm on the flywheel.  Did a 400m sprint in 14.8secs.  So I was chuffed about that!

However my little 2004 model Golf was sold off last month and made way for a new addition!

A 1983 MK1 GTi 5door.  :-D
