Noob in Preston, Lancashire

Just thought I'd come on here and say hello.

Finally got the funds to buy a Campaign in Mars Red a few weeks back after being too much of a skinty student to be able to afford one.

Can't upload a pic at the moment (at work) but I'll stick one on later.

Nah, it belongs to my mate Nick.
It is a project that has been going on for years but he finished it this summer.
Nice clean thing. He runs capripower.co.uk.
He has been looking in to starting a "retro" meet in the area.
I suppose now is as good a time as any to put the feelers out!?

Oh, by the way, has anybody got any advice about the problem areas that mk2 golfs have.
Are they the same as the mk1s?
My mucker has just bought a mk2 off ebay and wants me to go and pick
it up with him on Friday. Is there anything I should especially looking out for?
