New Purchase - Golf Cabrio

Hi All

So, what happened was - the old T2 bus has worked hard for 6 years (family wagon, holiday vehicle, work van etc.) but was in desperate need of attention pretty much everywhere and so after much thought the decision was made that this was the year it was taken off the road and restored. This gave me a minor problem as it was my main transport. Without any idea of what i was looking for i 'happened' to notice a rather good looking 86 Golf Cabrio for sale in a local garage and after a couple of visits to look around and under we did a deal and here i am. All told it's in good around condition with only minor items that i can (hopefully) sort while still keeping as a main driver. Had a quick look on the interweb and this looked like the best forum to get help and advice (which i'm sure to need). Anyway, here's a picture of the car.
Cheers
Andy
