Why would we hate you Matt, you're hear and new members keep the club going  8)

Cracking looking MK1, love the simply look and those alloys are the business.

Ask away anything you need to know, check out the technical archives too, plenty of stuff already answered

Enjoy your stay

thanks guys, that's cool. Current set up it a 2.0 2e with 40 DCOE's, 13x8 ATS classics, FK coilovers.

I just bought a 2.0 16v 9a with tranny for 500.  kind of rebuilt.  Looking to throw a header, manifold for 2 weber 45 DCOE's, and exhaust on it.  Looking for some references.  Any body running this or a similar set up?

Hey, thanks.  I actually bought the motor from a guy here in Germany (another soldier) who is from PA.  His name is Geoff Walsh, guess he has been around the VW scene for a while in PA.  Not sure if you know of hime or not, anywho.  Any info would help.  What engine code do you have? More questions to follow.  Thanks.

Hey Hick
Nice car :)
We're also stationed in Germany (British tho!) Are you planning on going to any of the German Dub shows this year?  There's a good Old-timer show in Essen.

thanks, I will probably hit up Worthersee and German Race Wars for entertainment.  Other than that, not sure yet.  I am pretty much gone most of the time, so we will see.  I just want to get my 16v installed.  Wish me luck
