Hello, how you doin'?
My name is Earl…. no I mean Ren, I found this site and had a  'gander' for a couple of days before I joined. I have to say I 'likeee' very much, the site is quite special and some of the topics and replies ,especially in the 'chat' forum have brought a  smile to my face.

I bought a red 1988 Mk1 auto cab with BBS alloys  on ebay just after Christmas with just over 96k mils on the clock. Its in really good nick and needs not that much to make it really tasty.I know I have been very lucky! Hopefully I will meet some of you at one of the shows during this year, starting at Stanstead. But I do still have a soft spot for my modified 1968 Beetle.

Hi mate, I'm a bit further a field in Stamford. There's a few who have been trying to get a meet together, 'rov716y' has been trying hard but I don't think the timing has worked out for everyone yet?

Hello Firestormer and Hairyarse,

I suppose with the early nights and the rubbish weather a meet in the near future would not be very likely, but if you hear of one anytime soon don't forget to let me know as it should be a good time.
Hopefully I should have some pictures posted on the site before the end of this month. I am having a few of the dings and dents sorted out so with a bit of luck it will look OK for its photo shoot!
