Hi ,
joined up a few weeks ago but thought its about time i said hi.I own a Yreg mk1 gti in mars red(non sunroof)with a few mods.

Have been around the golf scene for years(god that makes me sound old)after seeing a black mk1 gti in a car park when i was 18 and thought gotta have one,and the rest is history!

Have had 4 in total,the first being a 79 T reg.In between have tried mk2 8v&16v but didnt compare.Also had a corrado which i loved,but not as much as my mk1s so i had to come back.
Great to find such a friendly site.
