Newcomer with a dilemma

:dontknow: Hi all, just joined site,recently  bought a 1980 left hand drive 1.6 GLI Karmann cabriolet & need help,trying to find a nearside sill. VW want ?500+!!!!! 8O Does anyone know where I can get one from please? Will post pictures as soon as I figure out how. Look forward to hearing your replies, thanks, Ken.

i know its gonna be pattern but try hadrian body panels they arent too bad i know everyone whinges about pattern but the prices youve been quoted justify the extra work unless you are getting all work done by professionals.
