Newbies from HK with Golf Cab 1989

Hello.
I am from HK. I have just bought a 1989 Golf cabriolet 1.6 , but I am not sure it is a Clipper or a MK2, can anyone teach me how to classify?
The roof of the car is broken, how can i repair the soft top? Can I order a replacement somewhere?

Welcome to the site & it will not be a mk2 cabriolet as VW didn't make one.  
Got any pics of it?
