arr well where do i start?

hmm ok my names Asad.  From High Wycombe, Bucks

current daily drive is a 6n2 polo tdi…

been a huge fan of old school german cars since my dad bought a bmw e30 in 1990 and then a mk1 golf in 1993…  there started my passion for German cars but specialty these two.. i've owned and driven "x" amount of e30s but to this day never owned a mk1…

that is where i am stuck, just finishing uni, i know its going to be a while before i find a proper full time job.  so im thinking its time live out a dream.. but restoring a mk1 golf to my specifics..  

im currently looking for a 1.3 driver or a 1.1… looking to do a 1.8T conversion.. the engine and everything needed for the converison.. i can get quite quickly but finding the right mk1 is not so easy..

would love it if someone could give me a pointer in the right direction

also if there are any meets in the local area could someone tell me please..

think you conversion depends on you age mate, i assume your around 21/22 as you've just finished uni

i would like to see the cost of insuring at 1.8t conversion

thanks guys after much consideration and just getting a new job   …. im gonna detour from it slightly.. im gonna break it up in stages.. firstly im thinking a 1.6 16v engine out of a polo 6n… now will this fit and what would it run like?

Arr these last 3 months have been a flop.

Looks like the dream is on hold for longer.

Got to retake my final frickin year…. a*****e uni f****d me over.

However on the plus note going to see a 1.5gx this weekend, maybe promising.

But again on the downer my daily driver failed its MOT reversed it into a wall and the drive shaft is saying byebye,

you know what they say when the s**t hits the fan it just keeps coming.
