Newbie!!
My name's Daniel and I recently aquired an '83 Driver in mars red for 2 weeks wages and 40 Marlboro Lights.
As I have less than no mechanical knowledge I will be frequenting the forum, If anyone has a 'Golf Driver' rear badge going spare could they get in contact, the 3 holes on the boot are like acne on my mona lisa

I've always wondered what the mk1 drivers are like to drive. Is it very nippy for a 1.3 - presumably it's the same as a mk1 Golf CL 1.3 engine-wise with 60hp (does anyone know?) I'd probably get one if I could afford a 2nd, non-GTi Golf! I agree, get pics up if you can.

It's the same engine, and the car is vitually the same, but with nicer trim, etc…
The only non-GTI VW that has a better engine that the model that it's based on is the Polo GT (bigger valves in the head, etc)
