Newbie!

I unfourtnately do not own a Mk1 Golf, but my boyfriend does and it is one of the most beautiful cars i have ever seen in my life! As a first car too, he passed his driving test in december last year and i passed mine this may. I hope to own that car if he ever tries to sell it it shouldn't ever be given to anyone else!! I love it so much, Mars red, 1983 5 door, four spot lights at the front, pirelli wheels! It sound like i love the car more than him but its just fantastic so i had to rant about it!

On a serious note though it needs replacement radiator pipes does anyone know a place that does them?? They are gradually disintigrating!

Hi Hayley welcome to the club! Why don't you share the MK1 ? Then you can love it even more.

Try asking crazyquiff hes breaking MK1's so will probably have a rad hose for ya :wink: This is his site…..         www.golfmk1.co.uk

hayley - welcome - yes i do have used rad hoses but you should be able to get new ones from your local motorparts shop or motor factors easily enough.

we tried to find some in our area but they don't do them for some reason!!! We live in quite a rural area tho! It would be great if we could get some of the pipes from you tho crazyquiff, i assume that you seel things like that on your website or something??? Please get back to me asap! Thanks Hayley.

you have already spoken to him (Hooperooy) about the pipes and you wrote that you would have his used ones!!! Would you be able to get him some pipes or could u repair them if they can be repaired i don't no that much about cars mechanically!!! sorry!
