NEWBIE!!

Hi just a quick one to say hi

i'm actually a mk4 owner but thinking about getting a mk1 as i love them to pieces and fancy a nice project.

I'm thinking about a engine conversion…. not sure which one though. 1.8t sounds tempting.

I looking to keep the cost down as much as possible so any help advice would be grateful on this.

1.8t is probably one of the more expensive conversions, maybe more cost effective to buy a car already converted?  All down to to your personal skills though.
