I'm new but not so new if you know what i mean?
Well my name is Jamie, im 20 and im from North Somercotes In lincolnshire
I posted on here a few years ago with my mk1 golf gti, but had quite a mixed review on it, majority saying it was horrid because it looks modified and some saying they loved it.
Heres a few more pics to tickle your taste buds

The club has changed a lot over the past coupel of years, we'r enow more about the mk1 golf in any form so modified are just as welcome as are standards
People will always voice their own opinions tho and I like the look of your motor
The stance looks smart too, liking the ronals being tucked uner the arches, I really struggled with that on my old GTI did you have to do much arch work??
so whats under the bonnet? standard or modified too????
Is that a cream leather interior i spy too???

Its a 1.6 gti with kent cams and a full rebuild a month ago with everything replaced like water pump, all seals, belts, and gaskets etc etc
no arch work has been done its just got avo coilover kit with the ronal but has rota rewinds now
i will list some of the things off the top of my head what its got on it;
Rota rewind alloys
Vr6 rear disk conversion
280mm drilled and grooved on front
custom cream and green interior
custom R&A design dash and clocks
Full set of avo coilovers
custom bare metal respray
every part on the car is brand new or been shot blasted and powder coated. from the tiny nuts and bolts to the fuel tank to all the panels.
i will go and take some more pics because i for got to mention them pics were from last month. cheers

yea i wasn't to sure on the wheels at first as there meant for jap cars like civics n stuff but they are really super light weight thats why i got them
I think they are well nice, they'd look awesome on my project too..
in 2 minds myself weather to do up my rat and make it smart again with some wheels like those etc, re bumper it and stick decent paint etc or keep rat and get a cabby or caddy. .
Just needs slamming now mate with those wheels, scene people would say to stretch tyres but then you'll loose the benefits..
