hey guys, as you can see i am new to the site …. i would post up some pics of my beauty of a sweet ass slammed euro style mk1 … but I dont have one … for those of you that are interested, i am running a 1.4 cl 1998 mk4 polo…… done a lil bit too it  and havent had it for too long, however, i am gettin some cash my way soon, and want to get rid of the lil beauty and purhase me a mk1 golf. I was wandering if 1. anyoen knew any particular sites or places i could get hold of one, im not to bothered to whether it has had anythingdone to it as long as its in the euro direction or if its standard. or 2. if anyone knows of anyone that is getting rid of their mk1….. cheers guys!… hopefully wont be long till im ballin about in that sweet ass euro golf

cheers guys, lookin for a 1.6 if i can, not to bothered on the year as long as its in pretty good condition. and got about?2500 to spend..... just another quicky that u guys can maybe answer is wats the petrol consumption like on them .... lil thing thats been annoying me .

Cant say about the 1.6 consumption, but on a 1.8 ( not going to be massively different) Had a 200 mile drive at the weekend of mainly motorway and A roads little bit of B road, not going too mad and averaged around 41 mpg.
