hi  im a yank from tn in usa  butttttttt i had the trip of a lifetime in scotland last year and my blood is there. the golf im looking at is a 1983 4d gas really want a diesel but not many around i can aford.  is the 83 a good year?  this is the worfgan something model dont know enough to be sure but saw your sight and thought a good place to start. any help  i cant say enough.  thanks butch

hi all  as you know gas was 8.00 gal in scotland last year w/exchange rate talk about sticker shock.. there talking about 3.85 diesel in tn  tn is always cheaper than cal on west coast allready 4.00  w/exchange you could come over and buy 2.00 gas.  well the rich people control all this us poor people are buying sm cars. this looks like the sight for this vw  have alot of reading to do in arkv  this model might be something for usa dont know yet. owner said has all bells and whisles. thanks again for your sight. later butch
