Newbie

Hi,

I joined the club yesterday after purchasing my first car last week.  Shes a white '92 Golf Cabriolet.  I'm currently learning to drive & hoping to pass my test before the summers out.

I've been attending VW shows for the past couple years & hope to start driving to a few soon.

hi and welcome im 17 too and ive got my test in a few weeks i didnt realises there was somany people my age who actually had a passion for vws i may have gone a bit over the top recently purchasing my 4th without a full driving license yet but hey what else was i gunna spend my money on :dontknow:  lol nice car by the way

The VW camper vans started it for me years ago.  Theres also someone that lives in the same road as me & she has had mk3 & mk4 golfs.  Always admired them.  Fell in love with the cabbys & now I own one.  Still sounds so strange that I own a VW.

I'm a little older than 17, I'm 21.

Sounds like you've got quite a collection of VWs.

First car had to be a VW.  They've got so much character.

I'm out most evenings practising.  Magnetic 'L' plates so they don't ruin the paintwork.   :y:

We enjoyed Volksfest in Bristol so hoping to go to that again this year.  Also the VW van show at Haynes Museum & Bug Jam.
