They are both 1.8 clippers with the big bumper kits on. not a gti but still as good looking one is at 70000 miles and the other is at 90000.
Im so looking forward to owning another Mk1 cabby
here are the only pics that i have of them……..

90000miles and selling for ?1200
What is the going rate for a really well maintained mk1 golf cab clipper??

Thanks in advance for any help

The second one that i had a look at, which was on ebay. just went for ?920
neaded a new hood, which i wasnt botherd about!!! i was wanting to replace it with a moi hair hood anyway The body was in a great shape and the interior was spot on aswell!!!!! The only concerns i had were the engine ops: on start up the lfters were noisey and stayed like it while i was there, about 45 minutes, not a big job i know ops: when i got in the car to drive it, the oil light was flashing 8O when i pressed the throtle it went off and then when i lifted my foot off it come backon, compresion we thought :dontknow: anyways i took it for a drive and the steering wheel was jumping left to right all the time (steering rack)?? the front wheels were shaking up and down with a clunk noise ( lower arms or ball joints)?? :dontknow: and the rear exhaust box had a big hole in it ops:
Plus the brakes were useless!!! Nothing to do with it being an old mk1 golf, i know the standard setup isnt the best!!! But this one didnt even pull up 8O
Its not much i know, but to much for me!! as i wanted to be able to drive it right away and sort the little isues out as i went along ops:
So at the moment im wondering if i should come back to the mk1 cabby scene again or not ops:  I love the look of them!!! but the basics of them was a bit of a culture shock ops:
I have an old car as it is, but mine is a japanese import and top of the range 16 years old!!! and has power steering the lot ops:
I think i nead to have a sit back and think about it some more ops:
Maybe i should save up a little more and then look for a totaly sorted one and then i might not be so shocked :dontknow:
