Hi there,
I'm Steve, just joined the forum this weekend, having found a nice 1989 GTI cabby that my mate in Sheffield had owned for a couple of years. I have put some photos up in the 'rides and projects' section.
I have been in to the aircooled scene for a few years, and still own a 1970 bus and a 1958 bug.
I usually make it to most shows, like Big Bang, Stanford Hall, Stonor, Peppercorn, VW Action, along with the european shows such as Ninove, Le Bug Show at Spa, and European Bug-In in Belgium, and the vintage shows at Hessisch Oldendorf and Bad Camberg in Germany.
The GTI Cabby will be my daily driver, so I'm planning a few small jobs over winter so that its not off the road for too long. I'm lucky enough to be fairly local to VW Heritage for parts.
Looks like there are some sweet cabby's on this forum for inspiration
