newbie

Hi all ,just brought 88 gti cabrio.well happy with it. got 1 prob. temp gauge not working.any ideas why?  it has had 2 new sensors fitted. thanks. will get pics up soon.

I assume you mean the water temp gauge in the cluster ?

Could be a broken wire, you are going to need to get a multimeter on it and trace the wiring. I have you tried grounding the wire at the sensor, to see if the gauge reads full ?
