Newbie with Rivage being restored

Hi all

Having owned loads of veedubs over the years (including a Mk1 resto project…sadly now sold on) I'm now restoring a lovely blue Rivage with aftermarket cream leather interior…stunning car! I'm not sure that I'll take it to show level…as I already have my Mk4 25th Anniversary for Concours…but just want a sorted, as near as possible original, Rivage for summer weekend use. She's well on her way…

I'm after the in-demand wheels as two of mine are badly pitted and anodised wheels seem impossible to renovate (so I'm told), a new steering wheel and exterior badges…so if you know of any..give me a shout. I'll be at GTI International this weekend with my Anni in the Concours so please come along and say hi! See you all around, Mark

I have but the car I'm taking to inters is a Mk4 so didn't really think it would be of major interest to guys on here…happy to do so though if you like! The Rivage is in pieces in my garage at the moment so she's not looking too photogenic….some pics will follow shortly though..

Feel free to come on over this weekend…I can always hand you some polish and a cloth

hi, there's a set of wheels on ebay at the min, if you not seen them already. think at least one damaged though
