newbie with a mk1 clipper

HI,

I've just picked up a mk1 clipper and carb is shot to bits I think.  I'd like to get it changed to a weber.  Does anyone have any advise or recommends to help prevent a rip off from local garage?

hi we have a couple of second hand carbs in stock   … but if you wanting a webber i would suggest gsf as they do a carb with kit ready to go just needs fitting on . i have fitted these on some of are customers cars and found they spot on . but they are not cheap
