Newbie taken ownership of A925 DRY

Hi All,

Just joined and posted in the fuel section of tech, bought a mk1 gx with a 1.6td from a current member Artek, few niggles id have liked to have known before handing over cash, but its my first golf mk1, im in love with it, and i love the community attached to it. id appreciate any info about the car i might not already have, such as if anyone knows artur/had the car previously/helped with the part resto.

Welcome along mate,

Always going to be niggles as the chances are it's been through several peoples hands. All of whom will have had different ideas on how to do things.

It's part of the charm! When I turn my lights on, for example, my rev counter stops working. And I've just completely re-wired the car, except for the dash loom!
