Newbie (sort of!) Intro

Hi All,

Have been a member of the forum for quite some time but thought I'd better say "HI" as I will probably be needing a lot of advice over the coming weeks/months!  I have just got hold of my second MK1 Cabrio to use as a daily driver once it is back in one piece so I can sell my SAAB 9000 to start funding restoration of my original '83 MK1 GTI Cabrio

This is my '82 GLi Cabrio that is to be used as the daily driver



And this is my '83 GTI Cabrio that is in need of serious restoration due to tinworm.  Looks much better in the pic as this was taken 5 years ago when I first got the car!!!



If there is anyone in the Stevenage area that fancies giving me a hand/teaching me to weld, it would be greatly appreciated!
