Newbie seeking advice

Hi There

I have a 1988 Karmen Clipper, which has been in the family since new, I have recently joined the club to try and get it back to its original glory. I need some advice for a newbie or if someone can guide me on what are good prices for parts now a days.

A member is offering me both front seats and back seats, along with the internal carpet for a GTI cabrio.

He is also offering 2 front wings and a rear drivers side wing.  All this for 250, plus 35 for posting.

Can i ask if this is a good price and if all these parts will fit a 1988 Karman Clipper.  The reason being i have just noticed on the pictures that the front seats look a bit different and i don't want to waste his time.

Also if anyone might know where i can find a Mohair roof for a reasonable price your help would be much appreciated

Duncan

welcome to the site

there's a couple of place for a roof ebay, nothern hoods links on the left <<<<< or funkstar on this forum breaks cabbies so should have a hood lying around

as for the price it seem fair but always haggle and try and get them cheap

don't ask you dont get

not sure about the fit of the part but most golf part are interchangable

hope that helps
