newbie on the hunt..

Hi, i'm new to the mk1 scene but always been interested in them since i started driving. This interest came from going out in my brothers 2 mk2 golf's but i seemed to prefer the mk1 better

After selling my mk4 polo 6n i've decided to finally get my self a nice mk1, i have a thread up in the 'car wanted' section so if you know of any clean mk1's out there please post me a reply.

Admitedly i'm not very good mechanically so hopefully browsing this site will give me some tips.

As soon as i get my hands on a mk1 i'll be sure to post up some pics.
