newbie needing some help!

hey guys basically im 17 and im after my first dub….. ive been into vw's ever since i was 14 when i helped out at my dads mates garage who specialised in golfs…. ever since the owner took me out in his 300+ hp mk3 vr6 i knew a golf was for me but the only problems im having is finding a 1.1 mk1 golf and insurance. for a 1.8 gti im getting a quote of about 8000 i even got quoted 90,000 yes 90,000 for a 1.4 mk2 if anyone knows where i can pick up a 1.1 relatively cheap and of an insurance company the wont charge me through the roof prices i would greatly appreciate it!

i just spotted this on piston heads sadly its out of my price range until my grandmother gives me money like she offered too..... ( she has a vw baywindow so shes more than happy to help)

Have you tried getting a quote from Footman James?

No I haven't …. I got a quite off money super Market .com for 4500 which is still really high but because I'm working I can afford it monthly….. Can I do a quote online with James or do I need to ring them?

also i cany use footman james insurance due to the fact that my car will not be garaged, plus you have to be at least 25
