Newbie in Kent

Hi All,

My Name is Danny i have just acquired my first v-dub being a 1982 mk 1 golf gti cabriolet. its the steel blue color although says silver on the log book. It has 122,000 miles on the clock and was looking very tired and upset under a tree in a drive way.

i have a few issues i.e the dash clocks dont work need a new wiper motor and it needs a good run to clear the stale fuel but biggest worry is the body work.

i will upload pics soon as its being cleaned at the moment.

Hi Danny, welcome to the club, there will be 35 mk1's off this club not far from you later today as they will be coming across to Dover on the ferry on thier way back from a 4 day trip to Germany, the factory and hanover
