Newbie from Wantage

Hello,

joined the site a while back but have only just got around to saying hello!

This is my 83 gti cabby. Have taken the plastic wheel arches off since taking photo and going to be going bumperless soon (really wanted to get some small chrome bumpers but would rather chuck £400 at getting the paintwork sorted out).

Its going in for a 'longlife' stainless steel exhaust next month and will be looking into getting a sump guard from somewhere or getting one made.



Anyone know anything about meets in the oxford area?

It's not mk1 specific but a good mix of Aircooled and Water pumpers, we're all friendly enough!!  :wink:

I am a little out of touch as i have only just moved back into the area. will have to know fairly far in advance as being a chef tends to get in the way of most social occasions, should have stayed in school!!
