Newbie from the Isle of Wight looking to buy first MK1 GTI

Hi guys, I'm Jamie from the Isle of Wight. I'm 23 and have always loved the Mk1. I have been sharing a car with my girlfriend for a while now, but have just got a new job so sharing isn't an option. So, I'm looking for a Mk1 GTI   . The earlier the better, must be running with an MOT and relatively cheap, so if anybody can help or point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
