Newbie from tamworth

Just purchased my first ever car as I'm 17, a 1983 golf cl, my insurance is looking steap, could anyone recommend me good cheap insurers to go with as I'm struggling at the minute to find quotes that are reasonable, cheers

You might want to try Adrian Flux they might be able to help you along with Footman James but not sure if they will insure under 25's.

Unfortunately at 17 there is no such thing as cheap insurance, try a few of the insurers listed on the left, but chances are they wont quote you. you gotta be 25 to get a classic policy.

im under 25 and insured with tesco, if you have a clubcard you get loads of points and a few hundred £ discount too

I was with Direct Line when I bought my mk1 golf at 16.

I might've had a good deal 'cos the parents were with them to start with - but you never know.
