Newbie from Sutton

Hi everyone,
I have just bought myself a 1984 Golf GTI Cabrio. I used to own a lovely 1983 campaign but had to sell due to moving. Ever since that sad day I have been trying to buy another Mk1 but it was never practical. Now I am pleased to say I'm a Mk1 owner again and have spent the last week on this site looking in the forum and reading everyone's great advice.
The car needs some work on the body, mostly interior, but the engine has only done 66k and has loads of history and all the MOT certs.
I want to get this car looking like new, because it would be so worth it.

no but i'm not to far away from that sutton, but miles away from your sutton. have a look in the regional meets i'm sure there is a meet in your area.
