Newbie From sunny Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia

This is my 1st posting and appropriately a big HI to all of you on board.

vw mk1 CL is my first ever car here in KL way back in 1994. It was a used unit , a 1982 Mk1 with Zender kit all around. Much to my regret later, I sold off the car 4 yrs later after heaps of fun with it.
Since then, I had no opportunity to own similar unit since a water cooled vw is a rare species in this part of the world. In all that years, I harbour the wish to own a mk1 GTi in its original glory.
fast forward today, I intend to make that a reality soon. Still looking for a decent unit to re-ignite the vw bug.

I hope I can learn or relearn much from all seasoned forummers.
