Newbie from South Africa

Hello all, I am a 35 year old male from South Africa, I have joined this for because I recently bought a 1988 Volkswagen Fox for a project build and since most of the golf mk1 spares work on the fox, I decided to join to learn more and share my experiences but more especially to hassle you guys with all my questions as I get through my project build.

I do have a 1999 Polo Playa 1.6i as my daily drive ad aso bought a Jetta 2 as a donor car to use the drivetrain to put into the fox.

I wll post pics of all 3 cars as soon as figure out how to put them up onto this forum

We all love to see pictures of guys cars especially different types from your location,  wr do jabe a couple of registered owners of the club from SA so it'll be cool if you guys were to hook up in some way or even if you attend a show pictures are always a must here.

Hello all, thanks for the replies, been busy so I didn't manage to get pics of of my daily drive and project car

Here are some pics of my daily drive, its a 1999 Polo Playa 1.6i, that is used on a daily basis to work and shopping and back. The right side front fender, door and front bumper needs to be sorted out as I was hit by an 18 wheeler while he tried negotiating a turn and caught the back end of his trailer onto my car. The engine is also not too healthy and I will be replacing it with an import 2litre 8valve engine some time next year. 

For now here are pics of my daily drive, please note that pics were taken out in the rain with my mobile phone, so they are not the best, also car is very dirty, so please excuse the condition
