do you have an equivalent mk1 owners club in S/A ?.   I imagine parts are good to get ? any euro parts that you can't get ? could be worth people maybe organising like a parts exchange/ finder .

Plenty parts for 4 door new mk1's this side, 2dr mk1's….nothing at all!!! It is a mission to get anything, if you do get - it is second hand and need to get resprayed or fixed up…or remoulded. And you that side, any parts?

No rust att all. But they get stolen like crazy this side of the world. I will take the snow and rust anyday over the crime in this place

I too moved over here to get away from the crime and I left behind a Cti - beautiful she was  

Nice looking car, make sure you park her in the garage and get some flame throwers to come out from under the doors should any person wander a little too close for some unwanted attention  

Yeh totally agree, i saw them flame throwers on a bmw on tv one night they are an awesome bit of kit, dont think the brit police would be to happy if you installed them over here
