newbie from scotland!!

hey folks!

got word of this club from marcus (bluedub if im right), so finally got my finger out and joined up, so has my girlfriend sas but she's not posted.

just bought her a black mk1 golf gti a couple months ago but i feel i jumped in too deep.
the car had a months MOT left on it but it needed a lot of work for its up coming MOT.
well with a good helpin hand from her wee brother we got the car cleaned up, through an MOT and Taxed the day before heading off on a 400 mile trip to E38!!!
it also runs sweet as a nut (when warm), but when cold it runs as rough as public loo roll

Sounds like you've made a good choice of mk1, got any pics. The rough running when cold is probably a cold start system problem - check the Big Block Injection and Fuel sections of the forum for more info.

cheers guys, i know for a feact that the cold start doesnt work because the wires from the injector on the manifold are goin nowhere lol. so thats that out the window, i also just set the idle and emissions for the MOT which i think makes it run worse. its fine when warm thats the main thing!
where is the best area to post pics?

i can also write a spec list with the pics.
