newbie from Norway

Hello all.

I've just joined and was wondering why the car I have is not mentioned on this site. I've got a 1983 model Rabbit GTI sold new here in Norway. These are not that unusual here but I'm a bit confused regarding the differences between a rabbit and a normal mk 1 golf GTI. can anyone enlighten me?

Hi Naddvik

Welcome to the site. The Rabbit was the name for the Golf in USA for example and for you too. The car is mostly the same, USA cars had square headlights not round and different trim, but essentially the same.

Get some pics up of yours so we can see the difference with yours
