First mk1

Hi everyone,

Just purchased my first mk1 although I did have a mk2 Scirocco at one stage. I have had a mk2 16v for years and went for a run with the mk1 guys in Northern Ireland around Lough Neagh during the summer - so its their fault; at least that is what I am telling my wife who does not understand the need for 2 white Golfs in the garage!

Welcome, there doesn't seem to be too many white tin tops on here, good to see some pictures and hear your plans. nice to see your Mk2 as well, stating to get collectable if they are original spec.  Just tell your wife she is luckly that you only have two white GTIs, I has four Red ones at the same time once!

Welcome along Mark, I thought you'd turn up here shortly

Regarding the above you need to come to an understanding with her, you choose to ignore how many pairs of shoes or handbags she has and she should not count the Golf's, I think that's a recipe for a happy marrage

My New Year's resolutions are: 1. Stop making lists. B. Be more consistent. 7. Learn to count.
