Newbie from hertfordshire

I am based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, I recently bought a mk1 golf clipper and loved every minute i had it, unfortunately it only lasted a month thanks to a land rover

I'd ideally like to sell the clipper as one for ease, but if there is no interest i will consider breaking it, i however, am looking at mk1 gti's to replace the clipper (1983 mk1 black gti tin top) and was wondering if i do end up breaking the car for spares, what parts it would be worth me hanging on to as spared for my new mk1 that i am hoping to buy shortly and actually get a chance to show a mk1 with you as i unfortunately missed out with my near immaculate helios blue clipper. Hopefully ill find the tin top gti i am looking for and have another mk1 to enjoy

gutted for you, as for keeping spares good wings are worth storing, but, most of bodywork on cab is different for tin top.

& I noticed you are local, I'm just outside Hatfield.
