Newbie Alert!!

Hi everyone, just joined the site, I am recently the proud owner of a MK1 GTI Cabby (I just love it!!). I have wanted a MK1 for years and have finally talked the hubby into letting me get one. So I am now the proud owner of a 1988 Golf Cabby Karmann in White. She has just had a engine overhaul to make sure she's in good working order. The body work is a little tatty and is in need of a respray, the interior needs a overhaul also - loads of TLC needed. Obviously I'll be looking forward to the warmer weather (will it ever stop raining).

Yeah i know, its back on standard suspension now with original lights back in, will take ?500 for it now

I will try and get some pic's done over the weekend as its meant to be dry. Doing a RR on saturday so will get some pic's of that too.

Yeah, you had your chance mate and i'll get to see em often as she's really local  

Thanks guys, pic's do her more justice really (although I did work hard on cleaning her inside and out on Sunday) she has some pretty nasty rust spots. I agree Lawsey, she will look even better with the New Lights.
Unfortunately she is off the road at the moment as having problems with the fan, until I can get it sorted. I think the Rolling road she went on on Saturday may have been too much for her, although she preformed well and got 113.1bhp & 110ftbs not bad for a 20yr old car.

The RR was organised by SeatCupra.net my hubby originally was running his Modified Ibiza but he has since sold it so I took the spot, we went down to a garage near Oxford - Bradleys in Chipping Under Wychwood. It was a good day
